Got to reap the rewards of many years of reading books....
We went to a bookstore last week that also has a train table. Jack made a beeline for the train table and stayed there the whole time.
After a quick perusal of the trains, Josh opted to browse the books in the bookstore, never returning to the train table.
This is a product of many years of deliberately reading to Josh, even before he knew what a book was! I bet Jack will ultimately make that switch too.
If you have trouble spending dedicated time with your kids, at the very least, read read read!!! It is worth it in so many ways. If you don't know what to read, check out Honey for a Child's Heart or Books Children Love from the library.
