Today we started cursive!
I totally believe in all the theories behind cursive first but was too afraid to do it with my firstborn. It actually worked out well because now both boys can learn together.

That's so cool! I've been debating whether to start cursive with my kids. What program are you using?
Handwriting without tears: the third grade workbook is the first cursive one. You might want to get the teachers guide- I didn't because I did printing with their program and was familiar with techniques.
I just started the cursive Abeka book with Josiah (K4) but he is fighting it cuz they do printing at his preschool. Still I think it is great to expose to both as early as possible! Yea for your boys :) We miss you but LOVE hearing/seeing via FB how great you guys are doing!!!!
