Just found out that a former coworker / friend of my husband's lost his son in a car accident. Hug your babies. We never know how much time we have. (and offer a prayer for comfort if you would.)

This is so sad but very true. I often think about things like this, on a lesser permanent note - like when one of our children has a bad dream and wants to sleep in my bed. My husband gets so frustrated that his 'nights sleep' has been disrupted and all I can think is "there will come a day, far too soon when this child will be too big to come running to my bed looking for comfort and snuggles).... I hug them all often. Thank you for the loving reminder and prayers for all the families who have lost a child in any permanent way! xo
