Cursive and soap

School today included: cursive practice in colored sand on the light table and exploding ivory soap in the microwave which the boys then colored with liquid watercolors. Fun!

Liquid water colors!

Liquid watercolors (from Discount School Supply) are versatile. This week, we colored the snow and the bath bubbles with small squirt bottles. Then we used dauber bottles (discount school supply again) to decorate shapes on the light table. It all washed off, except maybe a small spot of red on the white tile grout. :) A little elbow grease and that came off too.

We have all enjoyed the daily infusion of color and light on these cold winter days.

Swamp monster.

Rainy day fun

Rainy day = fort building day! Clothespins, sheets, chairs, pillows and even a cannon to defend the queen. (that's me, teehee).

Obsessed

In the new year, with new routines, I have added LOTS of new ideas inspired from palayathomemom3.blogspot.com and on Facebook. My sis-in-law shared many ideas with me and I am on a roll! Today we played with water beads (in floral section of Walmart or hobby lobby-they expand to lots of sensory loveliness) and our marble game.

Many more things to come!
